Mattifying Hair Powder Showdown

Two of my favorite hair products are Osis Dust It Powder and Redken Powder Grip 03. They are essentially the same product, with subtle differences. I thought it would be great to decode these slight differences to make your perfect volume decision a little easier.  So here it is:

Osis Dust It Powder
  1. Great for achieving crazy amounts of volume
  2. Has several holes in the top for maximum product release
  3. Can make the scalp sore if not washed out thoroughly
  4. Great for making ends thicker and texturized
  5. 23.50 at Ulta and Ulta.com

Redken Powder Grip 03
  1. Great for achieving natural amounts of volume
  2. One hole in the top so you will never dispense too much product.
  3. Does not make the scalp sore if left in for more than one day
  4. Great for making ends thicker and texturized
  5. 14.50 at Ulta and Ulta.com

So it is really up to you and how much volume you want to achieve. Both of these products are a 10/10 in my opinion, and I would repurchase both. Next time you are wanting some volume without damaging and teasing your hair, pick one of these babies up!!!
